As you know, I work at a used bookstore. My heart would skip a beat if some of these showed up in a buy. (Not because of value, just really cool stuff.) Good eye!
I did not know that the Penguin book Love in a Cold Climate is an uncommon one. I've got the same!!!
I highly recommend The Old Wives Tale. I must read more Bennett myself! And I also have The Sisters on the TBR, but the paperback version that coordinates with The Pursuit of Love/Love in a Cold Climate. Must read more about the Mitfords as well!
No, I would not have left the Wodehouse behind. What good finds!
Steve: I will admit I not only have a good eye but a fast one. I kept buzzing down the tables as people slowly read book jacket synopses. It helps that not a lot of people share my tastes.
Mystica: That old edition is definitely unusual to find here in the US.
Karen: I now have a fair amount of Mitford and I have yet to read any of it.

It interests me how many British books can be found at US used book sales. I was so excited to find nice old copies of favourite American books here, but all I find are English classics!
Absolutely fantastic finds, by the way. I love those pairings. And the Mitford biography is fantastic - read it soon!
